Galapagos and Machu Picchu

 NEW TRIP

Intermediate
Tiburon Explorer
July 21-28 & July 28-Aug. 7, 2022

There is nothing quite like the Galapagos Islands. Images of endemic birds, fish, tortoises, and iguanas come to mind as these remote islands were the foundation for Darwin’s theory of evolution. Not only do the Galapagos contain some of the best diving in the world, the topside vistas are equally spectacular. Our adventure begins as we board the luxurious dive yacht, Tiburon Explorer, and head north towards Darwin and Wolf islands. Enormous schools of hammerhead and Galapagos sharks patrol these distant islands, giving way every so often to the master of the sea, the beautiful whale shark. July is prime whale shark season! For those who are eager to start their adventure early, we are offering an optional expedition to Machu Picchu prior to the Galapagos part of the trip. This week-long exploration of this mystical part of Peru includes fascinating cultural experiences, stunning vistas, and active excursions for those who seek even more excitement!
