Who doesn't need a quick, mid-winter getaway when the cold days of February really start to dig in? Join Ocean First on an easy, inexpensive trip to Grand Cayman to wash those winter blues away in the warm, clear tropical waters of the Caribbean!

Trip Leaders: Gary Boyer and Danny Knoll

What could be better than a mid-winter getaway to Grand Cayman for amazing diving and relaxing to the sound of the ocean right outside of your window? This dream can become a reality on Ocean First’s February trip to the sunny Caribbean where the water is warm and clear, the diving is superb, and the camaraderie second to none!

We are headed back to one of our favorite haunts, Ocean Frontier and Compass Point. This part of Grand Cayman is away from the crowded part of the island and boast some of the most prolific dive sites Grand Cayman has to offer. Eagle rays and Caribbean reef sharks patrol the seemingly bottomless walls while huge grouper, lobsters and plentiful reef fish inhabit the nooks and crannies found in the coral reef. There is no shortage of awe-inspiring vistas or, if you are a photographer, colorful subjects for your camera!

This is a perfect place for those who are eager to pursue continuing education courses to further develop their dive expertise. Aside from the great diving, it is a trip to the Caribbean in February! That’s hard to beat.
