The diving around Kapalai Dive Resort is truly amazing! The weird and wonderful world of muck diving presents creatures like flamboyant cuttlefish, picturesque dragonets, numerous species of octopus and frogfish just to name a few. Not only do divers get to experience unbelievable macro animals, they will also enjoy the larger animals found at Sipadan Island. This pinnacle contains some of the finest reef diving in the world. Turtles are encountered in large numbers, finding sanctuary amongst the coral gardens of Sipadan’s shallower dive sites. The gorgeous walls are filled with healthy corals and the current-swept corners attract huge schools of horse-eye jacks and chevron barracuda. It is a mesmerizing experience to find yourself in the middle of these enormous schools!

After a full 8 days of diving we move back to the mainland of Malaysian Borneo to Sepilok Nature Resort. This is where we will visit Borneo’s most famous resident: the orangutan. These gentle creatures thrive at the nature reserve where they are protected. We will also visit the sun bear conservancy and enjoy a river cruise before settling in for the evening. Wildlife and bird enthusiasts will be in heaven as this is bound to be the adventure of a lifetime!
