Splash Day: May 17, 2020

Mark your calendars for our spring Splash Day! On Sunday, May 17th from 12:00-4:00pm we invite you to enjoy this FREE, unique, and important opportunity for current Ocean First Swim School swimmers (for ages 3 and up) to put their water safety skills to the test in a safe and fun environment. It is also an opportunity for new families to try out our program for free!

Current Students: Practice Water Safety

During Splash Day, current students will:

  • Learn what it feels like to jump into the pool with their clothes on, and practice grabbing the wall and rolling over and floating on their backs
  • Learn how to put on a life jacket
  • Learn what to do if a friend falls in the water
  • Locate safety items around the pool
  • Have fun with marine science crafts, a bouncy castle, and visits from Josh the Otter!

New Families: Try Our Program For Free

If you or someone you know is considering joining swim lessons, we will also be holding free Try It Swim Lessons (ages 3 and up) throughout the afternoon, where students will get a feel for what a swim lesson entails, while the teachers evaluate the appropriate starting level for each new swimmer according to our Swim School International Gold Scripts. New families simply need to fill out our online registration and choose a class time based on age group. Please feel free to call with any questions or if you need assistance with registration.

This event is lots of fun for everyone, so feel free to bring family and friends! We will have a bouncy castle and marine science crafts for those who want to participate or continue to play out of the water.

Regardless of whether you are a new or returning swimmer, be sure to register online or call us to sign up for Splash Day to reserve your time slot – space fills up quickly. We look forward to sharing this learning and playing experience with you!
