SSI's Master Diver rating is one of the most sought after recreational diver ratings. Divers that have completed this level have combined the knowledge, skills, and experience to truly call themselves Master Divers.
To earn the certification for Master Diver, you must complete 4 specialty courses plus Stress & Rescue, and have logged a total of 50 dives.

DIVE GUIDE CHALLENGE
Completed your master diver certification and ready for more? In conjunction with our Master Diver challenge, we are holding a separate challenge for those in pursuit of the Dive Guide certification. In order to become a dive guide, divers must:
- Complete 5 or more specialty courses, including navigation, night/limited visibility, and deep diving
- Complete their Diver Stress and Rescue certification
- Log at least 40 open water dives totaling 25 hours or more
Complete your Dive Guide rating by April 30th, 2017 and be entered in Ocean First’s Dive Guide raffle for a trip to Key Largo, including airfare!

Travel, Become a Master Diver, AND Save $$
