Swimmer of the Month - Casey!

Congratulations to our Swimmer of the Month, Casey. He has been swimming with us for two years now! Casey started in Beginner I and has worked his way up to Intermediate where he is doing freestyle and backstroke. Casey is one of the most positive and enthusiastic swimmers we know. He comes to class every week excited to learn more and work hard. He is also best buddies with all of our shop dogs! Here are some questions we asked Casey to get to know him better.

What is your favorite thing about swimming? 
Casey: "Diving down for rings."

What do you like doing during your swim class?
"Swimming the long way and diving."

What else do you do for fun?
"Play football and basketball, and play with dogs! My favorite dogs are Coco, Piglet, Juniper, and Kilo."

What are your goals?
"I'm going to be a scuba diver one day with dad."

What is your favorite subject in school?
"Math!"

What advice do you have for swimmers who need inspiration in the water?
"Keep practicing and never give up, if you give up you might not be able to become a scuba diver."

What is a fun fact about you?
"I know a lot of football plays and I know 5th-grade math."
