Ocean First Youth Program Guide to Spring & Summer

At Ocean First, we are committed to inspiring the next generation of ocean stewards. Through the different branches of our business, we are excited to offer a wide selection of ways for kids and teens to get involved and learn more about swimming, marine science, and our connection to the ocean. 

Spring Break Programs:


Go beyond swim lessons with our new single-day experiences:

  • Swim & Dive Technique Clinic (3/27)
  • Marine Science & Try Snorkel Experience (3/28)
  • Try Scuba & Virtual Ocean Exploration program (3/29)

April Mermaid & Shark Experience:

Back by popular demand! Led by our resident mermaid, Sierra, this course gives your child the practical and safety skills to swim like a mermaid or shark in the water. Class price includes a plastic monofin and a fabric tail cover. For Beginner II swimmers and up. 

April 7-8th from 1-3pm.

Must sign up by March 16th to guarantee a tail.


Marine Science & Swim Mini-Camp:

Select weeks June through August

Learn about the exciting world of marine science with games and crafts, then hop in the pool for a full swim lesson every day of the week! Monday-Friday from 1-3pm. Recommended for ages 4-8.

Early Bird Price: $195
(ends March 31st!)


Ocean First Institute Marine Science Summer Camps:

Our sister non-profit, Ocean First Institute, is running a selection of marine science camps this July. Available for ages 9-14, each camp is run by staff scientists who will share their knowledge of the marine world while instilling a sense of wonder for the ocean through interactive learning and fun!
