Marty Snyderman Underwater Photo Workshop

By OceanFirst on 2/2/16

March 19th from 10am-4pm

$195 per person (includes lunch)

This seminar is geared towards photographers and divers of any skill level who are looking to become better underwater photographers. Attendees are welcome to bring their cameras but it is not necessary. Participants do NOT need to own expensive, state-of-the-art cameras in order to get the most out of this seminar.

What you will learn

Over the course of this 6 hour seminar, participants will gain insight into photographing big marine animals, learn how to photograph reef creatures, and learn to create silhouettes. Other topics covered include:

• how to set up & maintain your camera system

• how strobes and light meters work

• when to use which tools and how to coordinate them

• the value of histograms, and how to use them

• how to coordinate the use of strobe light & sunlight

The material will be presented through narrated slideshows, and individual questions and concerns will be addressed throughout the day.
