Meet the Swimmer of the Month, Jack!

Congratulations to our Swimmer of the Month, Jack. He has been swimming with us since Beginner I and is currently in Intermediate II! Jack has progressed from not being able to kick to doing freestyle and backstroke. He had many great things to say about the swim school and we have many wonderful things to share about him! Here are some questions we asked to get to know Jack better.

Boni started teaching for us in fall 2017 and had previously been a swim instructor before moving to Boulder. She has a background in Irish Dance and enjoys seeing young people follow their passions. Teaching kids to swim drives her to share her passion for living a happy and active lifestyle! We asked Boni a few questions to get to know her better:

Meet The Diver Of The Month: Cole!

We are excited to highlight an Ocean First diver who captured our attention before he can even get fully open water certified! At the old age of nine, Cole has already been diving for two years with our Scuba Rangers program and has big plans for where his diving will take him. A Rising Tide in the News!

As a part of the A Rising Tide web series, the teen scholars joined Ocean First at the Denver Aquarium to dive face-to-face with sharks as a preparation for their scuba adventure to the Florida Keys. CBS Denver captured the big moment and aired the experience as a segment of their news coverage.

TIDES in the Bahamas

Ten TIDES students from Alexander Dawson School went to the Bahamas to scuba dive and perform hands-on scientific research, including measuring sharks with lasers! Check out their trip video.
